I ran one on my 65 Hemi Coronet factory race car back in the 80's and I never noticed any difference in ET's or MPH.  But it will help vapor lock and hot fuel related issues somewhat.  That's been my experience anyway.....   :cooldancing:

I never seen a difference either. My car got 4 gallons to the mile running the 1/4 with burnouts and returns. The can and line only holds so much and the flow is so quick, it really doesnt cool down as much as you'd figure. Some friends of mine used to put bags of ice on their intakes in the stagging lanes and claimed it helped .

I believe the rule books have basically banned them now as they used to leak water onto the track
