Anybody catch the show "Appraise my Car" on Tuesday? They show 2 eps. The first had a Green 70 Challenger SE RT submitted for appraisal. The guy appraised it at around 41-42k and the owner during the initial interview was putting the value at around 50-55k but after the appraisal lowered it to about 47-48k. He said that with Dodge coming out with the new Challenger the value of this car was going to go through the roof.
Come to think of it, thats not the first time I've heard that. When I went to see a 71 Challenger that
www.texastoybox.com had at the Texas Heat Wave car show in Austin, I thought 34k for a 340 4 barrel Plum Crazy Challenger RT that needed work was a bit out of the ballpark, the guy's reply was exactly the same thing. Are folks out there thinking that because the new Challenger is coming out thats an excuse to jack up the prices?
