Shaker Base Plate
«

Hi all,
I am on the hunt for a shaker base plate for a four barrel set-up.
I was told that there are two types; one that fits the 340/440 and one for a 383.
Can someone confirm this for me.
Appreciate it.

There are at least three different 4 bbl baseplates
3512765 -- 1970 340 baseplate
3512764 -- 1971 340 baseplate
3462465 -- 1971 383 baseplate
The 1970 and 1971 340 baseplates are different based off the carb height 1970 used a avs carb and 1971 used a thermoquad which created the need for the baseplates to be different heights.
I would assume a 440 baseplate would be different yet but I am not familar with them sorry
Hope this helps
