Self made 10x15 Rallyes
« on: September 09, 2007 - 03:54:57 AM »
This is my friends '71 Challenger. He ordered NEW 7x15 and 8x15 Ralley Wheels from Wheel Vintiques. Rear wheels were not usable - they were not straight at all. Too bad for us Europeans  because freights are so expensive to return them. Well, those are nice looking are garden hose racks....

What he did? He took centers from 14" Rallye Wheels and bought set of 10x15 cheapo Mangels. Rallye wheels centers and Mangels circkles are fitted in a lathe and wheels are now lazer straight.

Rear tires are 275/60-15. In my opinion this is mean looking combo.

Wow!  That was a pretty great idea!
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I've heard of that being done. That does look pretty good. Can you get a side picture?

There is a company that I buy parts from that offers wheel rims and centers seperatly to perform this type of work. It allows for some very custom rear spacing.
