Resistor how hot ?

Anybody ever check how hot there resistor on the firewall gets ? I know they get Hot but the one one my son's truck  {just got running }was 200 deg.F seems to hot to me!It's a 2 prong type mopar conv. kit .

They are ceramic so they are made to get hot but how hot I dont know.

They get way hot. A brand new one will smoke for a few minutes actually

One of those big white rectangular ceramic resistors? Those get hot as hell. I had an R/C jeep as a kid that had a couple on it. I accidentally touched my fingers to them for a split second and learned first hand how hot they get. My first experience with a blistering burn. Really sucked.
