Can I put a 3 speaker dash pad on a center speaker frame? Diff?
« on: September 24, 2007 - 07:45:16 PM »
I am about to order a new dash pad and am thinking I might want to order a 3 speaker pad so I can mount so extra speakers up front...
Question: are the dash frames different? if so, can I just cut out the speaker holes to mount some 3'' speakers or tweeters?

they are the same, take a look in the frame and you will see the cutouts for the speakers already there, might have to drill the holes for the screws though. If you use a more modern speaker with a larger magnet, you might have to open the holes up a little bit for them to fit right
