Thats sad to hear about what happened to your friends Jim.
My condolences. Maybe their inner guilt will begin to chew away at them if they find out the outcome about him.

Thanks everyone. I finally got back on here tonight after posting this. Just having a hell of a time "accepting" this, his wife and daugher and parents (family in general) are an emotional mess. Just 50 years old, full of life, and he is gone. To just give ya an idea of how he was thought of by all who knew him, over a thousand people either went to the one evening at the funeral home or to the graveside service. Friday night Pam and I waited 2 hours in line to finally pass a closed casket and embrace his family. He was loved, one hell of a man, husband, father, and gentlemen. just an ole country farm boy. There was a wake also Saturday night at his parents home, there was only about a 100 in attendance.

Thanks again, you are so appreciated. Catch ya all later.

It is truly sad. We just had one here last week. A husband and wife were out riding on the interstate. The husband was in front and he looked in his mirrior and he didn't see his wife  so he pulled over and looked and he saw the bike on the ground against the concrete barrier but no wife. She some how hit the barrier and was thrown over it and fell 35 feet down to her death. Nobody sure what happened yet. I be willing to bet the who ever did that to your friend didn't stop for a reason-like--drinking or drugs--no insurance or license or was with somebody they should not have been with. I agree that if they don't come forward it will eat at them the rest of there lives. Payment will be made if not in this life --in the next!!
My prayers to you and there family.

Jim, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your friend.  It's awful to know that some people just don't care what happens around them as a direct result of their actions.  Having been in two close calls on bikes myself, it's really sad that 99.9% of the time it's not how well your riding ability is, but rather how well you trust the other drivers around you.  Hopefully some justice is done in the near future, but it's hard to catch people if there weren't any other witnesses to I.D. the person's plates or car.
