Lower Control Arm Removal
« on: September 23, 2007 - 09:44:31 PM »
I need to replace the lower control arms and torsion bars on the Cuda.  Other than removing the necessary bolts on the suspension to drop the control arms, do I need to use a torsion bar removal tool, or should they come loose once the control arms are removed.  Also, is there a left and right side torsion bar.  If so, are they marked L and R or is by by a part number.

Appreciate it.

remove the nut on the LCA pivot pin & the caster strut & the snap ring behind the bar & just pry the LCA & bar backwards , no removal tool nessisary for the T bar
the bars have both L & R & the part # on them , odd is always left even is right
