Frt frame rails

I have a driver and passenger side frame rails that I removed at the spot welds.Driver side needs a little work(top frt)pass side is real nice.Any interest?Also a torsion bar crossmember(cut at the rocker on each side)great part for rust repair.

Will it fit a 70 Challenger? I need the passenger side front rail.

How much do you want, and any idea of the shipping to 28714?

No Idea on shipping,But I am asking $300 for the passenger side and $150 for the driver side and a $150 for the crossmember.

Well, now I don't know what to do. My pass side is bent in and up about 1/2". I don't know whether to try and fix it or replace it. It is solid otherwise. Plus, I need to sell the 71 before I can do anything.

I know you would be the expert - how big a job is it to replace?

I'll think about it and let you know.

I myself consider it a big job to undertake,replacing rails.I would try and straighten the rail first,especially if its solid.
I have had some people whine about the $$$$ I charge for really good sheetmetal,but most that cry about the price have never removed this stuff at the spotwelds.I had a guy buy the cuda rear speaker deck that I removed($350)He sent me pics he was so happy with the way I removed it(all by hand,no air chisel)He set it in and all the spotwelds lined up with his cars and had it in,in 45 minutes.And my hands show the wrath of removing this stuff.So if you can fix the rail,I say fix it,or at the least give it a try.I have three sets of frt rails right now,so if it doesn't work?I am sure I can get you what you need.

My front drivers frame rail was in and up after going in a ditch (not me) .I made friends with a man at a body shop who had a laser frame machine . We made a deal for when things were slow he would he would straighten it . 2 weeks and $600.00 later good as new . It was interesting to watch , he put markers on matching parts around the car and the laser would come up with exact distances . A tug here and a push there and all is good .

Clown - Thanks for the advice. I will try to have it straightened, if I ever get to work on it. I didn't think the price was bad, I just didn't know how big a job it is, or how hard the rails are to find. I've got a lot to learn. That's why I read here every day.

Badjoey - I had not heard of a laser frame machine. I guess I'll check and see if there is one in my neck of the woods.

Hi clown would you have the left lower dash piece for a 70 challenger where are the front rails cut from any pics.

Here you go,most parts are removed at the spot welds unless what they are attached to is junk and then I cut it away.

How solid is that trans tunnel? I need to replace mine as the top was rusted through just as bad as the floors somehow.

The tunnel is real nice.That is cut and not removed at the spot welds.
