Dodge motorhomes info?
« on: September 30, 2007 - 04:30:51 PM »
Just looked at a Dodge motorhome today, pretty rough shape inside and hasn`t run since `98 but it has a 440/727 and best of all it`s free!Anything else worth salvaging off this thing when I get it towed home? It`s a `77Sportscoach M400 25` long, fiberglass body-not the van front end.

Had a couple opportunities just like that way way back when.  But didn't want to go to that much work then.  It was easier to find those 440's back then.  Wish I wouldn't have passed 'em up now!  Good luck with it, and congrats!  lol

I had the chance to get a few of those years ago. We passed on them because it's hard to get rid of the remnants after you pull the driveline.     :grinyes:

You could find that free ain't free...  ???

those often had the angle plug heads & raised water pump which will be usless but the rest of the engine / drivetrain will work

So sounds like just the short block and trans, anything else worth saving?I`m calling today to get a tow price and make sure the local junk man will remove the hulk for free.
