Makes the bicycle have a "motor" sound.

I used to do it, and I'm only 22.

OK so I'm wrong....figured you guys would not have ever seen a clothespin.   :smokin:

Didn't the .gov force cellphones with cameras to make a "shutter" sound when you take a picture, toavoid folks sneaking them into locker rooms and the like and taking sneakshots?

Pick an appropriate sound (I like a dog squeak toy, like the sounds in the Dyson vacuum cleaner commercial) and require the hybrids make the sound when ever they're in motion.

Why should the driver and passengers be constantly subjected to a noise like that when they may go months at a time without ever encountering a blind person wanting to cross a street?

I know on my camera phone, you can turn off the sound and take a silent pic.  :picture:

put a proximity sensor in the person's cane or on their guide dog's harness that would warn them when something approaches. I have to admit, I have almost been run over by one for the same reason (quietness), freaked me out a little.

Or make them (the cars) stink, so you can smell them from far away, but what does smugness smell like??  ;D

Yeah, and they can make the scents different. That way the blind people can tell what type of car it is.

I can see the ads now: "The new Dodge Wildebeast, with Musk Scent".
