Yeah it's pretty much the U.S. system of handling the problem, that is the problem. A bunch of bleeding heart liberals and spineless republicans. It all sounds so good, let them come and we will take care of them. Give them everything that they need. There are groups of people that hang out down by the border that give food, water and medical supplies to illegals crossing the desert, just so they don't starve to death or die of thirst!! It's the freaking Sonoran Desert !! In the summer it is well over 115 degrees and there is very little shade, and it is no place to be at night either. They risk their lives and the lives of others just to get here, then they just go on living like they are still in Mexico ! ! Driving junk cars with no license or registration or insurance, disobeying basic laws, and failing to learn the language. Living with all their extended families in run down trailers. Why not just stay in Mexico?? They have nice beaches down there and the climate is mild. I just don't get it. BTW I have plenty of Hispanic freind's that feel the same way about illegals, so you can save the racist biggot remarks!!

Best Letter To The Editor
On Illegal Immigration
AfricanCrisis.org
10-1-7

A woman wrote the best 'Letter to the Editor' in ages. She cuts to the quick and explains things better than all the rubbish you hear on TV...

"Recently, large demonstrations have taken place across the country protesting the fact that parliament is finally addressing the issue of illegal immigration. Certain people are angry that the UK might actually want to protect its own borders, might make it harder to sneak into this country and, once here, make it harder (as an illegal immigrant) to stay indefinitely.

Let me see if I correctly understand the thinking behind these protests. Let's say I break into your house. Then, when you discover me in your house and you demand that I leave. But I say, 'I've made all the beds and washed the dishes and done the laundry and swept the floors; I've done all the things you don't like to do. I'm hard-working and honest (except for when I broke into your house).

According to the protesters, not only must you let me stay, you must add me to your family's insurance plan, educate my children, and provide other benefits to me and to my family (my husband will do your yard work because he too is hard-working and honest, except for that breaking-in part).

If you try to call the police or force me out, I will call my friends who will picket your house carrying signs that proclaim my illegal right to be there.

It's only fair, after all, because you have a nicer house than I do, and I'm just trying to better myself. I'm hard-working and honest, um, except for well, you know. And what a deal it is for me!!

I live in your house, contributing onl y a fraction of the cost of my keep, and there is nothing yo! u can do about it without being accused of selfishness, prejudice and being an anti-housebreaker. Oh yes, and I want you to learn my language so you can communicate with me. English is too hard for me to learn. You should also allow me to vote - in my own language, since I live in your house."

Why can't people see how ridiculous this is? Only in the UK."

(And The U.S. and every other Caucasian country on the planet. No whites are trying to 'break into' non-white countries.)

Hmm. Just wondering, but did any of you know that Bank Of America was originally founded by immigrants to provide American style banking  benefits for immigrants who couldn't get accounts in of the other banks at the time.

When you come to another country and go to a community where others speak your language then that's where you will go. Miami has tons of hispanics...many areas speak spanish only, it has affected your ability to find work etcc... Many only speaking english have hauled butt to other states or parts of the state.  I blame the government for providing license testing in other languages, medical support etcc...in other languages. When I was a kid growing up in New York I lived with many Italian second gen kids. Their parents in many cases spoke very little english. They were pretty much forced to learn as my father did to learn english and eventually assimilated into society. When you have large areas of immigrants legal or not they don't need to speak english to get around because stores, jobs etc... are in their language. Thats the way it has been forever. Many areas big cities have their China towns, little Italys etc.. The now continuing influx of illegal and legal hispanics is now coming into small town america and is being felt more now than ever. I am of hispanic heritage and speak fluent spanish (badly) and I am not as effected. Unfortunately until our government keeps track of those coming in and going out properly, promotes the english language and sends those back who are here illegally this will only continue. I am for speaking as many languages as possible but when I am served at a public store resturant etc.. those serving should speak english. Government services should be in english. We can not control private enterprises but publicaly funded services need to be in english (which they are) and cater less to other languages. You can not blame those who want a better life for their families to want better. They know that coming here to the U.S. they have at least a CHANCE for a better life. Our government has to change the way they handle illegals, fake id's, fake SS numbers, medical services etcc.. that includes the home grown leeches. Unfortunately when some people hear another language other than english especially spanish they get pissed. (not in a service enviornment) Thats racist. Labelling all hispanics Mexican that's racist as well. My mother when she applied for SS benefits got less than someone that never contributed into the system (never worked in U.S.) now thats wrong. My mother worked since she was a kid . (born here) Just my  :2cents:  Buy a MOPAR and you'll feel better.

Well written kingtroll. I live in New Mexico and am not afraid to admit that some of my best friends are Latino. I call them Mexicans because in this region they are of Mexican heritage. I have nothing against Mexicans in general and when I worked on a farm loading semi truck trailers of alfalfa the "wetbacks" or illegal immigrants were the hardest working sob's I have ever seen. Call it conflicting opinion but I have nothing at all against migrant workers who come here to do the jobs that no one else will do and take that money back to Mexico. They are not the ones who are draining our government coffers by leeching off the system. They make their money and go home to provide a better life for their wife and kids.

I have a problem with anyone who is in this country illegally.  They may be hard working, but they're still breaking the law.  If they had visa's to work, no problem.  If the work is that vital, they'll get a visa, if they can't, it doesn't make it OK to break the law.  As for doing jobs no one else will do, I haven't seen that job yet.  When have you seen an illegal on "Dirty Jobs" ? ( Meant as a little levity )   The railroads, canals, highways, and all the other back breaking work has been done over the years by both legal immigrants and born citizens alike.

I don't care where you come from, what race you are, why you think it's OK to come here and leech off me and my children, if you haven't entered the country legally, I don't want you here and I will do all that I can to kick you out.  I have and will continue to turn in illegals whenever I find one.

Our Immigration codes are similar in context to Mexico’s but without political will to enforce the law, establish border security, interior enforcement, the INS was “broken” by design, intervention and agendas through many administrations.

Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society:

Foreigners are admitted into Mexico "according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress." (Article 32)

Immigration officials must "ensure" that "immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance" and for their dependents. (Article 34)

Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets "the equilibrium of the national demographics," when foreigners are deemed detrimental to "economic or national interests," when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken Mexican laws, and when "they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy." (Article 37)

The Secretary of Governance may "suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest." (Article 38)

Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)

A National Population Registry keeps track of "every single individual who comprises the population of the country," and verifies each individual's identity. (Articles 85 and 86)

A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)

Foreigners who sign government documents "with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses" are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)

Foreigners who are deported from Mexico and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)

Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in Mexico -- such as working with out a permit -- can also be imprisoned.

Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

"A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally." (Article 123)

Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from Mexico instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)

Foreigners who "attempt contempt against national sovereignty or security" will be deported. (Article 126)

Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:

A Mexican who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)

Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into Mexico will be fined. (Article 132)  *1917 Mexican Constitution… ref. Center for Security Policy

That is neat that they have laws protecting their country from illegal immigration. I dont see people knocking down the door to immigrate to Mexico. They wouldn't have any better luck inspiring immigration if they stood at the border and said "Welcome, come on in!!!!!!!!!!!"  :smilielol:

Just saw this one:

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented immigrant" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist."

Can you imagine what it would be like if we used the very same immigration laws that Mexico does? We certainly wouldn't have the problems that we have now. I don't see why no one brings that up when the President of Mexico chastises us for not being more friendly to illegals. Oh, wait,I know why. It's because the media is controlled by pansy-a55ed, bleeding heart, goody-twoshoed liberals.
