Are all AAR Spoliers Equal???
« on: July 20, 2007 - 05:48:25 PM »
I am lookinug to buy an AAR spoiler and noticed that there are several different suppliers and also different price points. Have any of you purchased one recently and what were the results?? Are the $350 versions better than the $190 versions on E-bay?

It might depend on if they have the mounting stuff or not.  :dunno:

Spoilers are one thing, all the rest of the goodies is another.

Big difference. eg. the FPAP correctly textured, and designed wing and can be mounted with no prep and will look absolutly correct. The MAS version will attach with sheetrock screws and require sanding and painting before it resembles a stock version.

front or rear?   I bought a rear composit spoiler from Josh's.The quality is good. Not as wavy as fiberglass. Mounting was easy,I think hardware is included or availiable. I don't think it waz over 200 bucks. The front eybrows I wouldn't know :dunno:  I like the larger front spoilers from MAS products. There are larger yet,I think there was a post somewhere on them? I scrape this one every now and then. It was only 50 bucks. Fiberglass.

I've got an MAS spoiler under the nose of my Challenger, to the left. It isn't easy to see against the dark blue, but it looks just like IMNCARN8s spoiler. I have torn it loose a few times, so it is being replaced with an aluminum replica of the Posey TA race spoiler.

If you've got a Cuda, this guy's is reproducing heavy duty fiberglass versions of the AAR race spoiler with or without cooling ducts. CudaSpoilerGuy@aol.com
