I was cruising up the I-95 through Boston a few years back, it was about 7pm and I was on the outside lane of about 4 lanes of traffic, cruising along at about 75mph. I felt a vibration in my steering wheel, if I cut to one side it goes away, cut to the other it gets worse. After a few miles, I found a spot to stop and investigate....my wheel was falling off and I only had 2 studs left on the drivers side front wheel.
Walked to a home depot, got enough tools to rob a stud from the passenger side, installed it on the driver side and continued driving the 600miles home...lol.
Breaking down when you're trying to get home sucks, always happens at the worse possible time, couldn't happen putting around town eh...
