5.7 stock PCM
« on: October 24, 2007 - 11:32:07 PM »
Anyone have any luck using a stock PCM yet? And or stock wiring harness? I'm looking for the cheapest way to do a 5.7 swap (not necessarily the easiest), and EFI is a must. I've read some about the street and performance harness, but never actually seen a part number or anything. Honestly I would like to use the 5 speed auto too, but info on that just seems hopeless.  :dunno:

I'm willing to hack the floor, change the dash and gauges, or whatever it takes, as long as it's reasonable and cost effective. I just don't know what all is necessary for the pcm to function properly; gauges, sensors, gas pedal, switches, wheel sensors, speed sensors?

I plan to keep the engine mostly stock, probably headers and a cam down the road.

Thanks!
