:iagree:  That was a funny read!!!!!  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol: :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

At first when I saw the title to this thread I was thinking HEI (GMs version of High Energy Ignition.)  I was thinking why would someone want that on their Mopar?  :clueless:

You think that guy's post was for real?  He has some interesting theories but needs some tweeking.....  he should just get a turbo and call it a day.  :faint:

Hey, I've got a Vette!!!   He lives in Nebraska and must have froze his brain at one time.... Maybe he should route it into the ventilation system..... :22yikes:

The responses were pretty funny!

That's about as good as the guy who thinks running turbos off the exhaust manifolds are restricting airflow and therefore must take away horsepower when compared to a naturally-aspirated engine.  His "bright" idea was to use an electronic source (like an extra battery) to run the turbines. ::)  The best response from him, though the electronic turbo was pretty hard to top: "Why don't they just run them off the crank pulley since that's spinning anyways."  The responses to that one went something like, "You idiot, that's what a centrifugal supercharger essentially does, but they don't produce nearly as much RPM's as a turbo can."

The funny part was it was on some Ford econo box web forum where they obviously don't deal with turbos too often, though many actually knew what they were talking about when they responded.  Yeah, the forum I read it on had a good laugh about it (VR-4's and Stealth Twin-Turbos).

This is one of the only friendly forumns I have been on, most are just trash talkers.

That was one of the funniest threads I ever read, and wow, 425,000 views in 8 days.  Thats over 1.5million hits a month.
