You're, or should I say karen is going to love it. If you did purchase an American car I hope you have no issues as there is no warranty on U.S. Mopars imported into Canada.

Thanks everyone for your interest in the Chrysler 300,i just love to drive it.  No i never bought the car in the U.S. I got a deal locally and have full factory waranty in place..

 it is a game the Manufacturers are using to Keep purchases in Canada even though you can save up to 25% buying in the us because of the strong Canadian $$$ right now

I bought the same car 6-8 months ago,but mine is a Steel blue(but it really a charcoal color),a little darker than yours.I love the car.It was a year old(06 Sxt) with 15k miles on it.The 3.5 has plenty o passing power.I do sales so i am behind the steering wheel 8 hours a day and its comfy.I think i pad 16.9k for it,got a great deal too.
The only real pisser is there is NO FRICKEN DIPSTICK for the tranny!!!!Can you tell I am pissed?.lol
You have to take it to the dealer to check trans fluid,like were idiots or something!
Other than that I love the car and still get compliments on it all the time

I wasn't supposed to say anything but that is only true on your car.  The people at the dealer didn't tell you straight out because they didn't want to hurt your feelings

My 2005 Mustang has no dip-stick for the tranny fluid either. Heaven help me if there should ever be a leak.

Actually this "game" started back in around 2002 because at that time there were truckloads of 6 month old Canadian cars/trucks being shipped down to the U.S. as vehicles here were much cheaper and a lot of money could be made selling them in the U.S. The dealers in the Northern states complained bitterly as this was costing them new vehicle sales so Chrysler cancelled the warranty on vehicles that were exported from their country of intended destination. Now that the Canadian dollar is so strong U.S. new cars appear cheaper so some Canadians feel the need to buy new cars south of the border. If you compare apples to apples, the fact that you can't trade, lease or get a deal on financing, import fees and out of pocket transit hotels etc,  it is usually still a better deal in Canada.
