Maybe it was Koivu I was thinking of.  As far as being overpaid, they are actually very few who make the big bucks.  I know of a few players that are in their rookie year and they would argue with you about how much they get paid.

Yeah the averages work out better not all make stupid $$ , but it is still decent $$ for doing something you love for others entertainment , it is not like they are contributing to society like doctors , sceintists etc
Still the Worst paid player makes a lot more than i do

I fixed it for you, I know that's what you meant to say.

bordin34:  You are too funny   :roflsmiley:
Hey, I actually like the Devils.  But my teams are the hometown Red Wings and the Minnesota Wild.  Thanks for Rafalski, by the way.  You wanna trade Brodeur for Hasek now?   ;)

Hopalong: Unfortunately, I don't think any of us has an answer to your question.  If you are interested, I took the liberty of shrinking your avatar picture a little, in case you want it show up without the scroll bar (attached below).  Cool picture, BTW!

Thanks!  That is so much better!  It was just a discussion I was having with my wife and some other people.  There is a junior hockey club (under 21) in the town I live in that we watch all the time.  The team just picked up Mark Messier's son, Lyon.  He's pretty good.  For some reason though, I was convinced that Messier had cancer at one point and beat it to come back and play.  Don't know why I was convinced of that, but I was.
