Any Electrical Gurus Here Know Stuff About Small Circuts?

I would like to make a circut that once a momentary switch is triggered it would open a 12 volt circut to supply two light bulbs, then turn off automaticly in 5 minutes until it is triggered again.
Can anyone point me in the right directions?

You need something like this for precise times.
Good luck.
Any quality Electrical Supply House would have these. Can get pricy though, I just bought a TDR 1S-100HR delay and it was 125+ bucks. Not sure on the 12VDC stuff though.

If you have soldering skills, you can build a time delay relay from a 555 timer chip and a standard 12volt relay...shouldn't cost you more than $10-15. I could draw you a schematic if you want to go that route.

Do you still need this circuit? I have a circuit that I made to honk my Aoogah horn for an adjustable length of time after I hit my spare channel on my remote. It uses a 555 time too and I can send the schematic up if still needed.

You need a momentary on switch, a double pole relay and a time delay. Cost under $20.00. If you have an electronics buddy he will make one from junk parts for you. If need help personal me. BUZZARD
