Torque converer bolts

I was given grade 5 bolts to attach this to the flex plate, but my buddy says I need grade 8. This is a mild 360 that will never be pushed too hard. What you say?

use grade 8 & locktite them in , they use a special bolt with thin head for clearance

They should have 9/16 (nut size) head on them too. 5/16 ones that are easy to come by with fine threads don't stay out of the flex plate holes very well when you get them tight.
