Update for you Cuda guys,, 71 gilled fenders
« on: November 18, 2007 - 10:16:37 PM »
I was out at...Hmmmmm... lets say a friends shop today who is working with Goodmark trial fitting 71 fenders.
Sorry, I don't have pics,  They are in early stages, but look like they will fly after Goodmark makes some changes.
The front edge around the headlamp area is squared off on the end,,,instead of rounded. Back by the door .. the
upper portion , from upper body line to top of door is funky, but I was assured that this will be straightened out before these go to market.  In all ,,, will be a great fender for those who will be needing .  :2thumbs:
Hurry,, Duane the tub,,I'm Dwouning....

If you have a template, can the gills be cut into a non-gilled fender? I love the gilled fenders, and want to put them on my 73, but don't want to pay outrageous prices, or deprive a car that really needs them.

What Im told ,, these will be priced like the challenger fender.... 599.00.

What I can tell you is this,,,, Every Challenger fender, and full quarter that I have used from Goodmark has fit very well,, needs very little massaging to make
work for whatever purpose,,, and lastly,, when you cannot find parts like this without surrenderring your first born....    You get the picture... :2thumbs:

the standard Cuda fenders will be 599.00 the 71 gilled fenders will be 659.00, still by far cheaper then buying a used set that need attention. new steel, e-coated, the price is still reasonable. when your talking E-body parts none of them are cheap. unless there junk. Fenders are being finalized and mopar should be giving there blessing for authentisity stamp of approval in december. production fenders should be out around march. I know this as to weekly talks with goodmark on different products and being one of there larger distributors. see us at

the run of fenders that had that issue should be long gone by now. that was well over a year ago in the second batch. they have replenished a few times since then.  the issue i believe with ragtopchally is he has one of the second run fenders that was purchased over a year ago.
