Anyone into old mopar street rods??

I'm not sure what this "other" car was, but it was repainted at the same time and place as my Cuda in 1975.  This was the day I got my car back from its new paint job.

Not many rods out there with Mopar drivetrain, but I always admire them when I find them.  Haven't figured out why you'd want a custom rod with a common as dirt engine like a sbc.  Gimmee a Hemi or even an old nailhead or a flathead.

  especially if you run without a hood.  The engine is out front and center all the time, The perfect place for an interesting powerplant like an old Hemi.  The nailhead Buicks and flathead Fords actually look pretty cool as do the 409 chevy if you really need a bowtie.  These wider engines can be a packaging nightmare though.

There used to be a `33 0r `34 Plymouth with a 392 Hemi in the area I used to  over all the time.Would love to biuld one some day.

I recently saw the sketchings of a 55 Plymouth custom in Hot Rod (I think it was that magazine). It was incredible looking. I like some of the 50s stuff, but before that I don't like much. Most of the 60s can be ignored too.
