Nissan has been using EDM holes in rockers for years for the same thing. I think they shoudl work. But, if you better have a good oil system and clearances because you're adding .028" in area of oil pressure loss for each lifter with a .012" hole there. And it pulls it from the lifter galley, before it goes to the mains. I would be interested in hearing from some guys who put them in engines with some milage and a good oil pressure gage. It will help a great deal, but that interaction is not designed to have more oil than splash. So he's dumping a lot more oil there. That also creates windage. I think this is more of a different mousetrap, rather than a real fix. The fix is the right oil/additives, and a good start up period.
