Mine has a flat hood and I really like it but it won't fit over my torquer manifold.  I'm trying to decide whether to cut it, get a r/t hood or maybe find a different manifold.  I thought about converting it to a shaker but I understand the bubble won't sit over my motor.  I saw pictures in here earlier of the bubble attached to the underside of the shaker hood so it lifts when you open the hood.  Anyone seen this or have any idea how it was done?

Dont cut it if you can help it, they are getting harder to find in good shape.

Not a Chally but I think my Barracuda looked pretty sharp with the flat hood but was keen to go for the 'Cuda look.  In hindsight, I would have been very happy with the flat hood (still actually quite like the light blue too).

I think the Challenger R/T hood is the most awsome hood out there. I would change it in a heart beat!!   :2cents:

:iagree: 100%. These are muscle (pony) cars. You want a flat hood, buy a Toyota. Want some aggression and style?? Then get some bulge. Ladies like bulge. :smokin: I still have a little laugh when I hear "be different". Ahhh, you're driving a 1 of 1800 (+/-) E-Body at most, more likely less than 1 of 1000. Different went out the window when you purchased the car lol. They could all be the same colour and drive train and they'd still be unique on the roads. Give the car a mean streak, give it the scoops.  :2cents:
