Aftermarket new headlamp for $52. I don't think the sanding and polishing is worth your time. Now on my $300 each lexus SC300 lamps it was worth the labor and I worked at the dealership and could get parts at cost!  The sanding is really a hassle on all but the slightest yellowed lenses and you can melt the lenses if you try to mechanically buff them. You can also try aftermarket companies direct like www.rpwheadlamps.com.
new headlights are like shiny new rims on a car. They really add new life to an older car.
