Drivers Remote Mirror
« on: January 05, 2008 - 08:07:56 PM »
Ready now to reinstall the drivers door panel.  I do not have any backing plate that goes behind the panel that keeps the remote plug from comming thru the panel.  I do have the screw on cap.   Can someone post a pic of the backing plate.  I am going to have to make one and I need an idea of what it looks like.  Thanks in advance,  David

Well Rich.........the plug does have a narrow flat spot on one side and a wide space opposite side.  That looks like it would be correct.   Time to get the file out and make some shavings.  Thanks,   David

Later years used a stamped threaded nut. I am pretty sure that I have given away all the spares I had to fellow board members already, but I will look.......
