I wonder if someone switched the whole k-member or just the LCAs and sway bar. Lots of stuff got switched before sales.  (I did lots of stuff too) There's no way to tell unless you bought it NEW.

True, but e bodies that had Hemis with 4 speeds had Danas and A/T's had 8 3/4's. The rear sway bar option was only on 8 3/4's.

Right?

Hemi E-Bodies with 4 Speeds came standard with Danas, while the Automatic cars came standard with 8 3/4s... BUT, the Automatic cars could be ordered with a Dana.  And you are right, I have only seen the rear sway bars on 8 3/4 axle cars.

I see nothing in the order sheets for 70 or 71 that restricts a rear sway bar with a Dana.   :dunno:

any car with a rear sway bar & no front bar can get some unpleasant handling in the corners , I highly recommend installing a front bar of larger diameter than the rear

1970 Challenger R/T's did not come with a sway bar till early in 1970. I would have to dig to find it but I remember it was within the first few months of 1970 that it became standard.

That may be true but I have yet to see a Dana with a rear sway bar. A 440+6 or a Hemi are pretty heavy powerplants to make them even handle a little better. That it may of not been worth it.

having owned a 70 and 71 Kuda (Both new), I can say for certain, rear sway bars were not standard equipment.
