When Clemens goes to Congress, they will be grilling a lot harder on him till he gets hot. He has a temper.
He started to just with that interview. And if he does, the public opinion will cry foul wether he's innocent or not.

I didn't see the interview, but this wouldn't be the first time an athlete lied thru his teeth. A couple of weeks ago, Clemens denied being injected by his trainer. Now he says he was only injected with pain killers and vitamin B-12. Hmm. Andy Pettite has come clean about this trainer injecting him with HGH, so I find it hard to believe this trainer would lie. What would he have to gain by it? Let's see how this plays out.

Guilty.

He knows.  They know.  Their excuses that they took an injection of this and that is a weak cover.

"I injected snake venom for to give me an edge, and baby lotion for smooth skin"   WTF ever.

Professional athletes know what is going on with their bodies, since they make their livings with them.  When he could suddenly benchpress a bulldozer, and his nuts shrunk, he would have known.....

I think he is guilty...

Clemens: "Never."

Wallace: "Swear?"

Clemens: "Swear."

I think his fingers were crossed...there are a few before him who also swore and then admitted to lying about it

Convenient timing also to file a law suit...now he doesn't really have to answer to congress due to a "pending" law suit...not sure if that's how it works

If I was 100% innocent I would have requested a lie detector test was done right there in that interview

Mind you who cares.....baseball is nothing like it use to be

I laughed when I heard that!  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

I dunno, IMO, I know innocent until proven guilty but I think his goose is cooked.   He can point fingers all he wants and deny everything but I think the truth will eventually come out.

For now I'll just...

BTW, did anyone hear anything substantial in that recording he did of his conversation with the guy who supposedly gave him the steroids?  :clueless:  I didn't here any denial from that guy or "I'm sorry I lied to the press" sort of thing.

That conversation could've been about their sewing class for all I could muster out of it.  :dunno:

He's done, stick a fork in him.  Without giving anything away from 60 minutes, you can tell whenever they asked him a question about it, he would answer them, then look down or away.  It's not real noticable, but I picked up on it after a few times.  And I'm with backtobasics.....these guys know exactly what's being injected into their bodies.....that's like saying we take our cars to a mopar mechanic and say "do whatcha gotta do to get her running right" and leave it up to them.....I don't think so.
