Carrier ID?
« on: January 08, 2008 - 06:28:13 PM »
Can anyone ID the type of carrier in this 3rd member?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=110212150297

I'm thinking of picking it up for my car so long as it's not an Open carrier.

Any ideas?

Thanks for all the responses.....I had no idea what kind it was.  Now I know not to bid on this item.

Thanks again!

Did you ever figure out what ratio you currently have?

You may be able to add a new sure grip to your existing set up for only a few hundred bucks if you keep you current gear set.

yeah, I figured they were 2.76's based on trials of everyone's suggestions on how to determine them.  They are definately not 3.23's.  I am looking to add a new carrier and ring a pinion to my existing case.  I'll find some good deals floating around somewhere....I just have to be patient.

yepper.....I don't normally drive on highways....maybe just once or twice a year to a local show or something....but I'm ok with cruising at 60mph if I have to.....more heads will be turning at that speed too!  :2thumbs:
