    i dont have them for 72-74...i bet their the same colors with different names....?? hard to say...
    i think bright blue will look the same for all years....i really dont know..my interior for my AAR is bright blue...if you study the charts above, there are two different blues for the interior...the metal dash is a medium blue and not the bright blue like the other parts....so read all of that tiny print up there, it tells exactly what parts are what blue...

    Thanks for your help.My dash pad was rebuilt and dyed at a dash restoration place.I have color matched the door panels[not painted them yet] and have the suade paint from Mopaints for the frame.That chart will help greatly

    Hey Rudy
    The paint is rustoleum texture finish with a satin finish sprayed over top of the texture finish.I don't consider it a very close resembelence to the factory looking wrinkle finish.And I am working on an Idea,using my airbrush and some lacquer reducer sprayed at a fresh enamal.I don't know if it will work?but anytime lacquer got near any enamel it wrinkled.It's just tough to make it controllable,to get the right finish.--The Clown

    Tried this stuff on a couple pieces. "Harley Davidson Wrinkle Finish". Cost about $30.00cdn and is a pain to work with. I have to re-strip the heater control bezel and do it again. Temperature and application seem to be pretty critical but the end result is really quite close. Maybe the pics don't show that but in person it looks good and my buddy at his resto shop thought so too.

    That looks pretty good in the photos.  Except for the $30 a can. I would get a can of that just to practice with.

    I actually just did mine this weekend, and soaked it in regular brake fluid for about 12 hours.  After that, I just pretty much used my fingers to wipe the texture off, and a brush to get the corners and raised letter areas.  It worked great.  After soaking and wiping, just rinse it in a dish soap / water bath for a couple minutes.

    Heater & radio bezels on my 73 challey the finish is rough. I used Rusoleum textured black found at Lowes. Was a dead match!

    Hi, I know I am coming in late to this but only just saw it, too busy with my own !!
    Where I am, we cannot get textured paint, and still the idea of textured paint still seems to me as a fragile solution, if one can get the tecture back on from the plastic itself, for a few cents only !!
