I woudln't - if it didn't come with it just leave it. Stripes are different. It would look awesome either way it's a restored e-body!!!  :D I just love the look of the new vinyl tops on cars, black as and nice chrome strips on the edges mmmmmm can't wait for mine  ;D

No DodgeFreak, I don't mind. ;)  And yes, I'll pay attention to this thread to see what everyone thinks.  It did originally come with a vinyl top, so that's the only reason I'm debating about what to do.  I want to keep things so that when I do decide to go back to exactly what the factory had (a long ways away), I'll still be able to put everything stock back on the car.
