Slap stik bezel

Is this some kind of special bezel with the colored indicator?

Hey Clown, my 71 has this. its pretty sweet. when you slide to each gear, that individual color lights up. i dont think its special though, they may be all like this.

My 71 has certain colors for the selections, but it does not look like that.

I think it is missing the slider plate that just opens 1/8" slot

I think that is what's under the black sliding plastic that causes the colors to change...

I recently took mine apart, and it looks like that. Like Chryco mentioned, the black slider plate will cover everything but the gear you are in, so you won't see all colors at once. I also found out that black slider plate is different on a 70.  :grinyes:

Yes, mine has it. I think they all do. Its a subtle affect, but I bet there are some owners out there that never noticed that the line on the gear indicator changes colors when you select different positions.

Especially when the light is out.  The light was out in mine, and when I put a new one in, I was pleased!   :bananasmi
