Okay, so my ongoing efforts to put a '74 Challenger dash harness into a '70 Challenger (otherwise know as "Project Square Peg in Round Hole"
) have brought me to the point where I need the '74 wiring diagram for the Interlock System.
Trying to diagnose why Ignition 1, Ignition 2, and the Start function on the ignition switch all cause the starter relay to power on brought me to the bulkhead connector, which is only remotely similar to either the '74 or '70 Challenger diagrams I have. I got both the diagrams from mymopar.com.
As far as I know, the location #20 should be empty (unless occupied by what I assume is the tach lead), but on mine the dash side has a large yellow wire going to it. The #9 that should have the yellow wire has two black wires that go into it. And then there's all kinds of other wires are in different spots, and before I cut the tape off and start rewiring the bulkhead like a 1970 should be, I was hoping for the factory Interlock wiring diagram so I have at least a clue what I'm messing with.
I think there was a button in the engine compartment that let you bypass the seat belt interlock BS in case of problems, and I figure that wiring is what I'm trying to figure out, but I can't find the Interlock Wiring diagram.
To recap:
I'm an idiot for buying a dash off eBay not knowing what it came out of.
I need the Interlock Wiring diagram.
Thanks guys.
