Richmond--Richman, yeah, well if you would have typed in transmission with it, Google would have set you straight.
I believe the Holley 850's carbs flow more than the Holley 950's. Look at the specs. A 950 is just a 750 carb with a 1 3/4 base plate-the 750's use a 1 11/16.
The Holley 850's have both a bigger main body and 1 3/4 base plate. The 750 and 950 have 1 3/8 venturies, where the 850 carb has 1 9/16 venturies.
So no matter how Holley rates them, a Holley 850 flows more air than a Holley 950, dumb but true.
