Just curious, is the shipper supposedly a "close friend" of the buyer, or just some independent company that they had the misfortune of hiring?  The answer to that question would make a big difference to me.  If this is something the buyer has supposedly personally lined up, then I might not be so forgiving.
:iagree:
May be we can recommend a shipping company to help this Mopar fellow out. If he`s from Croatia as in Europe he must get it to a harbor
either the east or the west coast. I know my convert was shipped from Stanton, California.

I would contact the purchaser, and see if you can come up with a "storage agreement". This way you would be compensated for the inconvenience of having to store the car for him. You can set a date unto which the car needs to be picked up, and also be compensated for storage time already accrued. If he is having trouble getting a shipper, include a fee to which you would assist in getting a shipper for him. Let it be known that you will be compensated for this service. He may be very easy to work with this way. Good Luck

I'm glad it worked for the buyer. I would hate to see a guy that is having a hard time with finally purchasing his dream car and getting so close just to have his shipper screw the pooch. I hope you went easy on him.
I do understand your situation. It wouldn't have rusted anymore in your yard than on the ship going across the ocean.
Good news for the Croatian.
