At least they didn't jump over a 'Cuda like they did in the original. There is also a 1971 Charger and a Superbird in the movie.

Everytime I see that movie and that scene starts, I turn up the volume to hear that engine...sweet!!

Yeah, would've been cool if they showed a bit more of all the cars they heisted.  If I watch that movie, I generally just watch the Eleanor chase and call it a day since you only see several seconds of all the other cars.

Of course if they did show a more indepth view of all the cars the movie would be over 3 hours long or something like that.  :dunno:

They're swaping the VIN on a Chally in the original movie if memory serves me right..

the original is pretty sweet. it kills me to see that Challenger get crushed in the original! as for Jolie, its just the lips,  :lol2: thats another old movie i have to slow down and check out all the car dealerships!  :burnout:

 :iagree:  Yep, and they made the car to look like a '72 when they were actually 2 different cars by looking at the VINs swapped, I think they were both 71's.  I did a detail breakdown of the VINs a while back ago if you want the info.

I was disappointed that they didn't show more of that car.
I have the "Gone in Sixty Seconds" poster of that car on my wall and the car is almost identical to one of my 71 cudas.
