Just an idea... What do you think?

OK so this is a possible good weather idea, but let me know what you think.

Last year I believe it was MoparManiac who went out and found a DIY car wash to "freshen" up his car before the show on Friday. I believe the fairgrounds have hoses, but I thought it would be cool to possibly get together at the hotel Thursday night before dinner and get the cars cleaned up.

I know after a few hours of driving on the turnpike my car gets pretty grimey, so what do you guys think?

I believe it was one of those pay and spray car washes.
You know, drop a couple of bucks in it and you choose from using the high pressure hose or the brush.
I was thinking I'll bring my own bucket and sponge, I wouldn't use the brush on my car.
I've heard stories of people taking all kinds of junk there to scrub them off.

Yeah the coin op wash was down the street from the hotel a bit.  I just used the spray detailer on mine in the hotel parking lot since it rained quite a bit after I got there.

Mike, you could just get the ice bucket and fill it up 50 times to wash the car.

I don't know about your statement Tom. I seem to remember your boys detailing your wheels.   

I know I can bring a bucket, but I usually get stuck on the second floor with a room without a frig or  microwave.    You can see they roll out the red carpet for me.

Yup, they are pretty good at it.  I let them wash the lower quarters and rocker panels the other day!
