Irontires

 My chally feels like a car without suspension and tires made of steel.
 Does the age of the tires have an influence on this?
 Front 235/60 and rear 295/60, new shocks and the rest ok.
 Any bright ideas?  :pullinghair:

Shocks. Good shocks can make a world of difference in how a car feels. Bad shocks can make even the best combination of parts feel awful.

 Have older hijackers in the rear, tried different airpressures in the shocks
 and in the tires.

Are the shocks from KYB?  I had a set on a car I used to own and hated them.  It felt like I could have removed the springs to make the ride about like.  Trucks should ride like trucks, cars should not.

I had air-shocks that were only pumped up halfway. It still road stiff. I went back to regular shocks, and put in new leaf springs to lift the rear the way I wanted it, and it rides much better now. I don't have to worry about the fillings getting knocked out of my teeth if I hit a bump.  :lol:

Air-Shocks are band-aids for wrong spring height, tire sizing, or both. And ride like its on bricks. I just have the summit adjustable drag shocks on the back of my car with s/s springs. Shocks are like $26ea, not too bad of a ride. The fronts are just stock monroes, i'll be swapping out for the summits up front so i can run the 60/40 around town and 90/10 on the strip.

 Thanks, will get them Hijackers off. Putted them on years ago due to wrong
 backspace but that's not a problem anymoore.  :2thumbs:
