Plastic grommet on shift lever?
« on: January 31, 2008 - 02:09:12 AM »

Hi guys,

Does anyone have a link to that plastic grommet that goes in the plate that the shift shaft goes into?  I know I don't have any of those terms right -- but its the bracket that bolts to the trans, and the shift linkage has this shaft/pole that goes down into it?

Mine is all torn up -- I know the next time I take that thing apart, its history.  I ordered what I thought it was from rtspecialties.net, but when I got it, it wasn't right.  (Or at least, it doesn't look the same)

Hey, for those who maybe have followed previous threads -- my new flex plate and torque converter fixed all my vibration problems -- And a radiator fixed my overheating problems.  Woo hoo -- I finally got out on the road today, and go back without any problems.  It was a good day.

Cheers,
Covert

Hi tactransman -- Cool -- Thanks for the link.  wow 45 cents -- Looks like I'll have to find $14 worth of other stuff to order though because of minimum order rules.  Oh well, I'm sure I can find some other stuff I need.

Hi Chryco -- Thanks for the offer -- If something happens with the guys at that site, I'll send you a private email and we an figure something out.

Cheers,
