well, that was pretty cool, but the car cost way over a million dollars, and is soo UGLY!.  If you don't have to have airbags and a wood grain dash, then I think good ol' American ingenuity could top that for half the cost or less.  For example, boost the charge on a Saleen S7 race car, or challenge the good ol' boys in NASCAR  to beat it, and I guarantee they will (provided at the end of the run there is some free moonshine in it for them!) Take an 800 hp nascar motor and add turbos to it! That's all it would take! Like was mentioned earlier, I'm sure the Daytonas and Superbirds with a 700 horse HEMI could reach 220 mph easy with enough straight away!
