Maybe some factory salt & pepper inserts.

Some samples that Legendary have on their display stand.

A lot of the time Body color inserts look a little cheesey and you may regret doing it. :2cents:

 :clapping: Hey Wally,

We had them here in early Australian built cars, they were called camper seats.  Door to door salesman would have these cars when traveling to live in while they were on the road. :2thumbs: True story.

But i know what you where thinking with your mirror tiled roof lining and mirror ball. :naughty: in your lay back seat Challenger. The rare formal suite with formal roof package. :woohoo:

Darn right! i'll add some bogus numbered option to the tag like X069

but the car i wanted to do it in, no pun intended  :roflsmiley: , was my old 67 Coronet 4door, ahhhh i love having an extra old car that i dont have to worry about, park it anywhere, destroy the interior trying to make it into a love mobile....

one day i'll get me another giant old car, now if i could only find another 65 New Yorker........

ok, im done hijacking this thread, i know our buddy here is looking for Ebody mods.... i think...

Does anyone know if that door panel metal trim was actually produced in OEM? Seems like I have seen it before in some original Gran Coupes but dont seem to see them much these days. If available, I'd like to add it to my car. I dont know if I could make the bumper trim idea work that well especially at the forward most point.

Mike,

Are you sure that is metal trim and not paint? That is a groove there and can be painted. April painted that groove pink, actually Joe did it for her.  :grinyes:  It looks sweet painted.

It is metal trim. It came on GC and had wood decal inserts.  I have some around here somewhere that I can post if it helps. The ones in the picture appear to be custom metal. I plan on doing the same with my cuda. Custom metal inserts that are painted.
