73 Challenger
« on: November 20, 2007 - 03:44:36 PM »
Just seeing what it might be worth, rebuilt 318 auto, disc brakes.  Anyway, the car is in pieces all the trim is inside the car and the seats are out of it, but it has new quarters, seats have been reupholstered and he painted the engine compartment.  Told me he redid the brakes, but they aren't working right.  It's in primer so it won't rust and just needs body work, reprimed and painted.  I have a couple of pics, but don't know how to post them.  I would like to get 6k as that is what I paid for it.  Let me know what you guys think.

If you have more pics to send me, that might help your case, but it's tough to see this going for more than 6K. You said the engine was rebuilt, but what kind of shape is the tranny in?

You know I don't know if the tranny was rebuilt or not.  The car runs, I took it for a drive before I bought it.  I didn't care much when I bought it,  I just love these cars and wanted to restore it.  Oh well,  if I can't get 6k out of it, then I have a reason to keep it.  :naughty:

If it`s solid underneath and you have most of the parts it should bring $6k.

Thats good to know.  It looks good underneath and I think most, if not all, of the parts are there.
