That looks like a killer price. I don't know what the Vettes go for, but if I was into Chebby's I'd be all over that. Resale red should expedite things.
I'll pass it along to some Vette lovers I used to work with.
I believe it is a very good price and I am firm on it. The car isn't perfect, but considering the car is 35 years old, it's very nice. This car isn't rare in terms of production numbers. However, it is rare to find any classic car in this price range as nice with such presence. I feel that any type of project car will be more to put back then this ready to go corvette costs to buy.
The last owner had about 15 years of reciepts with the car and I bought it for what he had in it. I have since spent several thousand getting little things taken care of. The car has had a exhaust leak repaired, new plugs and wires, new transmission seals, brake work, fuel filter and line, and an aluminum radiator upgrade under my care. I am always working to improve the cars I own. The car only has a couple of items left to do. The ac is appears to not be blowing and the car needs a new battery. I am planning on getting it fired up when the winter passes and getting these things taken care of. When I do start it up, It will nead cleared out and a minute to warm up after being stored for the winter. I'm plaining to address what ever it needs and put it on the road. I will get to drive it quite a bit this summer if it doesn't sale.
I put the car on ebay a few months back and nobody paid much attention to the ad. I ran an ad for the car in a local trader and got tons of phone calls but no lookers. I'm happy to keep this vette and will keep altering it to suit me if nobody shows interest.
