That's some flying!! :eek7: Only thing that comes to mind is perhaps the fuel load spraying out offering some kind of leveler or substitute for the wing. Thanks for posting that, you don't see that everyday lol.

His speed is probably what saved him - had it slowed down enough, the lack of lift would have caused it to spiral out of control, and the wind forces around the battered wing would have had nasty effects.

Irregardless, he must be one talented pilot!

That is what is nuts about this. The plane is spining out of control heading for a nasty crash and the polit hits the after burners. That is like having your 600 HP cuda or challenger spinning out of control and you floor it and hit the 300 HP Nitros switch. CRAZY but that is what saved it. :scared:
