Polygraphite. Polyurethane, Rubber, Red/Black - I'm confused.
« on: February 16, 2008 - 12:57:50 AM »
I want to replace all of the bushings in the front end, but don't have any idea what is the best to get. I am hearing that one type starts squeeking real bad after a while and other pros and cons on all. What are the best to go with ???

If you're rebuilding the suspension to stock, you have to go with rubber.  If you're looking for a little better handling, then you want urethane.  Polygraphite bushings are urethane bushings impregnated with graphite to cut down on the squeeking noise common to urethane bushings.
