A body, 8 and 3/4 diff wanted
« on: February 12, 2008 - 11:47:30 PM »
Buddy of mine is looking to buy.

I am looking for an 8 3/4 rear end core to narrow or a rear end that is the right width for a 65 Baracuda.  Please let me know if you can find one. Thanks. Joe.

Mike, Fremont, CA.

Well if you were closer, I'd let you have a truck dana with 354's in it to narrow. I will be in Trona ca on the 25th. I saw a duster in an old junk yard out there with a scoop hole in the hood. I will check it out for you if you dont find one. My fuel is free for sight seeing, so says my company, so a trip might be fun :2thumbs:

Thanks, I'll let him know. I know these are rare. That one seemed a little pricey.

He recently replied:

I can narrow a wider one, so I will not be buying a real expensive one. I am actually looking for a core housing at any length. If the right size one has a good price and will save me a lot of work, I would be willing to buy it. I know these prices can go from cheap to high and am willing to consider any offers. I will pay a fair price if it looks like a reasonable deal.

Thanks again Al. I just let him know that I am still looking for him. He owns an unrestored 69 R/T Charger thats in his shop. If you're ever near Niles near Fremont on a Friday afternoon. We can all go meet up at his shop.

Joe is a pretty cool friend of mine. And if you ever need concert/event tickets, he's got an inside to getting them before they go on sale.
