Do you have a picture of it that you could post?

Definately a picture or more info would help, like where is it located? I looked in my parts book under "Numeric Index" and that number didn't appear. My book did have 2983711 & 2983713, neither of which harnesses have blue and yellow wires. The more info you give the more people may be able to help, not too many people have parts book.

the only thing I can come up with would be wiring for the cruise control . those are blue and yellow if I remember correctly. Pictures would make things easier though...

Correct, that number is missing from parts book.

Those wires are coming from dash board. I think that they go to overhead console. Blue is for low fuel, yellow for seat belt warning light.

After looking in my service manual it does show a connector with a dark blue and yellow wire located what looks to be behind the drivers side lower kick panel and it is related to the overhead console. Does your connector look like a rectangle with a triangle, sorry about my poor description. Is a pic possible?

Wires from roof console = female plug

Wires from dash = male separate wires

It looks to me that the 2 separate wires were pulled out from a matching male connector for that female connector. From my "Accessory Wiring Diagram" it looks like the DBL from the female connects to the DBL w/tracer (your separate one) which comes from something called "Low Fuel Relay". The yellows connect to each other which says "Consolette and Title Lamp". Hope some of this helps. Maybe someone with a Gran Coupe would be more helpful.
