Does anyone know how if Dave Seward is still around?

I know a little over a year ago, he was still posting an ad in "Mopar collectors guide". My subscription ran out, so I'm not sure now.

Doesn't BEA parts have a better rep than PG Classics? BEA looks to have a lot of nice stuff.

I think BEA and PG Classics are sister companies with each other and share parts between themselves.

To be honest under $500.00 seems like it's to good to be true. I have tried to go with all original parts, but I was all for these pieces being machined from billet stock. I will continue my hunt for the Mysterious Dave Seward. Untill then I think I just might have to fire up the Solidworks and draw my own. I have been putting of making parts, because my employees will only see it as goverment work. I guess it's time to jump in the parts game. What are the hardest parts to find.

I would suggest the 71 Challenger only Wide hood and fender chrome and the seat medalions for 70 Barracuda Gran Coupe seats for starters.

Well after a year I finally got my bezels back. They have bee filled, repaired and re-chromed they look good but a year man thats a long time.

I had sent him some pictures in the begining to get a ballpark on the price which he said would be 4-6 hundred.  After almost a year of e-mailing and never getting a final estimate from him on price before he started the work he finally answered an e-mail saying he was just going to e-mail me that it was done and the price was $800.00 plus shipping. I said wait a minute you never told me a price of 8 bills and I would not have agreed to that. So I told him you can keep the bezels for that price. We wrote back and forth a couple times and he finally said I was right he had not given me a accurate estimate before he began the work so he would honor the $400.00 and include the shipping. I was not trying to screw the guy but after a year and no final estimate I thought I should stick to my guns and see what happend. So my final cost was $400.00.

I would say you were well within your right to stick to your guns, good to hear he honored the agreed price with shipping after such a long period.
