Sail Panel question...

Hey guys,

I'm just about to start the interior on my 72 Cuda.  Does anyone know if the sail panels were upholstered with headliner material, or were they just exposed cardboard?     As always, any and all help is much appreciated!!!

Headliner material over pressed board with a clip in the center to hold onto the side of the roof line. Barracuda. They are reproduced now, but not as good as the originals, but get them right and they look just fine

Just make sure when you buy them you ask for what you need.
I have many customers asking for them and all they say is "Sail panels", and when I ask what style, they have NO answer.
They can come in 3 different varieties.
Perforated
Non- Perforated
and just Plain - non covered

I honestly don't know about '72's, but I would guess that it was the same.  Many things from 72 thru 74 were the same on the Cudas.  Maybe someone here will chime in on their '72 sail panels and let us know.

My 72 cuda had the fiber press board and no cloth or vinyl matterial at all. painted black
