changing a couple things from a 73 to a 71
« on: February 20, 2008 - 11:51:28 PM »
I want to change the grille off of my 73 to a 71.

would this be a lot of trouble besides finding all of the pieces?

has anyone used these?

they look nice, but it seems like it would be a lot of work to put them on your fenders.

thanks guys

It will take some work , you will need a different valancefor the turn signals & headlight bucket welded into the fenders for the headlights , the header is unique to support the 71 grille as well

Whats different with the header??  :clueless:  I actually thought only the 1970 header was different and all the others were the same??   :dunno:

There is another thread just like this one going around.   :grinyes:   http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=42914.0

$2,440.00 and this doesn't include the lower valance or lamps. complete grille and h/l panels. this is becoming a common question to do. To my understanding the 71-74 headers are the same. the 70 stands alone.
